We would like to invite everyone to our annual Slavic Easter Celebration service, which will take place on April 8th, 5 PM at First Baptist Church located on 536 Union St. Manchester, NH. During this celebration you will hear young adult choir from three local Slavic (Russian-speaking) churches performing a selection of traditional Russian and American Easter hymns, instrumental performances and a brief message on the meaning and the power of Easter events.
Following the concert we will have a free tea/coffee reception with traditional Russian and Ukrainian treats.
Come and share the joy of Easter with us!
Translations of the hymns will be provided in print. Message will be simultaneously translated into English.

KAZKA Ukrainian Folk Ensemble was founded in 1987 in order to preserve, promote, and enhance Ukrainian culture, music, and dance in the anthracite coal regions of Northern Pennsylvania. KAZKA is particularly dedicated to the preservation of the music and dance of the first wave of immigrants to the anthracite regions in the late 19th century and early 20th century. KAZKA seeks to share Ukrainian music and dance with a wide audience both at home in Schuylkil County, Pennsylvania and throughout the United States through performances, workshops, and lectures. KAZKA is incorporated as a not-for-profit organization in Pennsylvania.
