Please hold the date on your calendar for our upcoming Diwali Mela, which will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the parking lot in front of Asamai Hindu Temple & Community Center, Hicksville, NY 11801 starting at Noon and will last till dust.
We have planned for a day full of exciting entertainment and fabulous food for adults and kids. The program includes live music, dance performances, fashion shows and fabulous food (Indian vegetarian, Kababs, corn, cotton candy, pop corn, chat papri and Pani Puri). In addition, rides and entertainment for kids include, the last years famous Choo Choo Train and giant floats.
