The 4th Annual Sacramento World Music & Dance Festival in Old Sacramento is a family festival that is a spectacular presentation of world cultures, ethnic dance and live musical performances. Old Sacramento will be transformed into a global village of dance, music, and artistry with a series of free public shows and children’s theatre performances. With fun-filled education in mind, the festival provides an arena for youth and adults to experience cultural awareness through art, clothing, story-telling, and dance workshops.

Back in 1997 I made a five-year commitment to help build the Latino Book & Family Festival into one of the best and widely appreciated festivals anywhere. Join us for activities such as making flags, parade for Republic day Decorating a kite for Makar Sakranti, special snacks for Lohri and Bihu and much more!

At a sedenka — a traditional Bulgarian work party — folks bring their knitting and hand crafts, sing, dance, tell stories and eat treats. We’ll be doing much the same with you at our Spring Sedenka! So, bring your knitting, bring your children, and bring your dancing shoes if you like. For a special musical treat Divi Zheni’s “2nd Generation”—Jordan, Kira, and Hunter—will perform a song they have been learning with Tatiana!
This event is a fundraiser to help renovate the church’s Community Supper Kitchen, which feeds over 100 people every week
