Since 1984, the heritage of American Indians has been celebrated in Denver every year at the Denver March Powwow, one of the largest events of its kind in the country. The Powwow features more than 1,600 dancers from close to 100 tribes from 38 states and three Canadian provinces. The three-day event in the Denver Coliseum is packed with singing, dancing, storytelling, food, art and more, ensuring a wonderful experience for everyone.

The Largest free folk festival in the nation, with continuous music on six outdoor stages, takes place July 27-29, 2012 in downtown Lowell, Massachusetts. A partial lineup of performers, representing folk, bluegrass, gospel, world music, dance and more, appears below. The festival takes place on six different stages in historic downtown Lowell. The annual Cinco de Mayo Festival is the premiere community fund raising event organized and conducted by the Central Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in the city of Manteca. Funds raised from this festive event are used throughout the year for Chamber programs, such as, developing and providing local Hispanic and non-Hispanic businesses with tools, support and advocacy to help them build a stronger business future.
This year the Cinco Festival returns to Downtown Manteca–after two years of rebuilding by the City, Library Park is once again available for the Festival. The Festival will include the same festive elements as last year but will be located in a cool setting amongst trees and grass and on the adjoining streets.
