Coya Paz in partnership with Voice of the City presents THE AMERICANS.
An original performance about how diverse Americans define being “an American” during a time of national crisis. Based on conversations with over 100 people- mostly strangers, on the street- in 10 states. The Americans is a fast, funny, openhearted look at a national culture built on the importance of individual freedoms.
It was workshopped with Halcyon Theatre as part of the DCA Incubator series, and this run kicks off the inaugural season of programming at the new Arts Center, Logan Square Avondale.

International singing sensation Cristina Fontanelli brings her highly acclaimed show “Christmas in Italy” running 8 years in New York City to the San Diego stage.
You will be taken on a vocal journey through Italy’s best loved songs and arias as well as Neapolitan and Christmas classics. Her repertoire will include songs and arias by Donizetti, Tosti and Puccini along with such classics as “Torno A Surriento,” “Christo Paese d’o Sole” and the Italian classic “Tu Scendi dale Stelle” (“You Came Down From The Stars.”) For this special event, Ms. Fontanelli will be accompanied by piano, mandolin, guitar,accordion and local student choir in order to evoke the authentic Italian flavor of the music.
