The Rock ‘n Renew Foundation presents a Peace Garden event which will highlight the role our parks and open spaces play in providing our community with all the elements needed to heal from tragedies such as 9/11. The event will feature the legendary singer/songwriter Ron Eliran, Israel’s Ambassador of Song, as well performances by Jonny Lives!, The Glazzies, Roderick Romero and more. The day will start with a series of service projects where students from Rock ‘n Renew’s school programs and the community will take part in a park clean-up. The music will take place from 3-6p.m with a BBQ and open-mic time for community members to share their words on the 10 year marking of 9/11. This event will take place through generous support by the NYC Parks Department.
