The 11th Annual Russian Film Week returns to the New York City from October 28ththrough November 4th, 2011. Organized by Global Advertising Strategies in partnership with Studio Clotho, the event is officially endorsed by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the City Administration of New York.
Throughout its 11-year history, the film week has become a much anticipated cultural highlight within the Russian-speaking community of New York and beyond. Now in its second decade, the week looks to capitalize on the strong following and stake its claim on the New York’s film festival scene. This year’s film selection, curated by the film industry veteran Katie Metcalfe of Future Shorts, will be screened exclusively at Manhattan’s legendary Village East Theater.
