“Imagine a runway where culture meets couture, where Frida Khalo, Dia de los Muertos and Mexican culture are the inspiration for fashion and design.”
NMMA will be hosting a the first ever La Catrina Fashion Show, named after the famous Day of the Dead icon, featuring top Chicago fashion designers Horacio Nieto, Gary Gonzalez and Elda De La Rosa as they explore ways to bring Mexicanidad to the runway. The $50 general admission grants you access to the show, the food, the Dia de Muertos exhibit, and – starting at 7 – the open bar.

The largest and longest running Halloween tradition in Hollywood for the South Asian community is back for its 6th year! Heaven N Hell 6 will be transformed into the ultimate Voodoo theme. This year, YPX 2011 celebrates cultural and community connections. The event will pose some big questions: what connects me to you? What connects us to the past? What connects the past to the future?
