Adelaide’s Windmill Theatre will be performing children’s theatre production PLOP! at the New Victory Theater. Based on the book The Terrible Plop, audience members must help Nathan and Nadia as they try to stop the PLOP! using all the tricks and traps, gadgets and gizmos, rhythm and rhyme that they know. The play gives everyone a chance to get up and boogie down and be part of the action. Don’t miss PLOP! for puddles of fun for everyone. Black champagne and the smells of Mars, tasteless candy and recorded silence, Lori Gréaud’s art is equal parts science experiment and cyberpunk carnival ride. On Saturday, Greaud will bring his heady thrills to New York with “The Unplayed Notes” at the Pace Gallery, his first major US show. The 32-year-old artist shot to international prominence in recent years with shows in London, Tokyo and Paris, including a 2008 exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo that was the first solo show to use the venue’s entire 40,000 square foot space.
