Walls and Bridges, the Franco-American arts and ideas series, is returning to New York for a third season.
Curated by the Villa Gillet, Walls and Bridges is a 10-day series of performances and critical explorations uniting French and American thinkers and performers from social sciences, philosophy and live arts. This season, “Infinite Affinities”, a special series co-sponsored by the Institut Français and co-curated by philosophers Avital Ronell and François Noudelmann, will bring many of France’s most innovative performance artists and choreographers to New York for the first time.

There was Chemistry, an installation about “getting personal and naming names” by Yann Toma, will open Tuesday October 25th as part of the Walls and Bridges program Chords and Discords at the Cultural Services of the French Embassy. The installation is free and open to the public. It will be on view from Wednesday, October 26 through Friday October 28, 2011.
