The Chinatown Lunar New Year Parade & New Year’s Day Firecracker Ceremony was founded in 1999 to provide New york’s Chinese American community with a large scale celebration on par with those in San Francisco and Los Angeles. In recent years it has suppressed it, the event has grown into a New York City-wide affair and New York’s biggest winter tourist attraction, luring thousands of visitors from all over the United States and the world. The Little Italy Association and the organizers of Gran Fondo San Diego are proud to host one of San Diego’s premier bicycle rides that starts in San Diego’s Little Italy and crosses over the Coronado Bridge and takes riders through the many terrains of San Diego. Food and Outdoor Fun in Little Italy this Summer
The Summer in Little Italy Festival celebration will take place every weekend throughout the summer along the Mulberry Street Pedestrian Mall in Little Italy.
Presented by the Little Italy Merchants Association, the festival has attracted more than a million visitors every summer since it began in 2002.
Most of the area’s more than 35 restaurants will operate sidewalk cafes during festival hours so you can stop for a leisurely meal, cappuccino, or hand-made cannoli al fresco.

Cleveland’s Feast of the Assumption, held each year in mid-August in the city’s Little Italy neighborhood, is a four-day street fair that celebrates the Catholic Day of Assumption (August 15), when the Virgin Mary died and assumed her place beside Jesus.
The Feast is a fun-filled Italian street party with rides, food, live music, a procession, and lots of fun.

The Little Italy Association is proud to present the kick-off to its annual holiday shopping, dining and pampering season with the annual Little Italy Tree Lighting & Christmas Village held at the Piazza Natale on the corner of India & Date Streets from 4:00pm to 7:30pm. Come one and all; family, friends and pets are welcome. Also we are expecting a surprise guest to add that additional holiday cheer; with the music, free Italian cookies, cider and coffee. Don’t forget there will be vendors selling holiday gifts to get the season started off right.

The Little Italy Association is proud to present the 10th Annual Little Italy Carnevale. This year the Little Italy Carnevale will be held on Saturday, February 9th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on India Street between W. Fir and W. Cedar Streets with the main stage on W. Date Street. Last year, Carnevale drew over 12,000 attendees with people dressed in traditional Venetian Carnevale regalia.
This event mirrors Carnevale in Venice with various vignettes of entertainment and great Italian food!
