The Tampa Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will host its 5th annual Poinsettia Ball on the evening of Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the historic L’Unione Italiana (The Italian Club) located at 1731 East 7th Avenue in Tampa. Cocktail hour begins at 7 p.m. This semi-formal affair will feature delectable food, live entertainment and a premium silent auction. Proceeds will support their scholarship program and other educational initiatives.

Pig Out in the Park is open 10am to 10 pm daily and features: free admission, 54 food booths with over 250 different menu items, 82 free concerts on three stages and 3 adult beverage gardens. Nothing is over a measley $8.95.
One of the things Spokane likes best about Pig Out is the ethnic and cultural diversity of the people and restaurants. This year’s event is a good example.
