Mexic-Arte Museum’s Mexico City Art Tour offers a panoramic survey of art and culture in Western Hemisphere’s largest metropolis. Want to learn how to make Parol star lanterns? Workshops will be held every Friday in October, November & December at the Bayanihan Community Center, 1010 Mission Street, from 5:30pm to 8:00 in the computer room.
If you’re making a parol for the first time, ther’s no charge to make your fist parol. Additional parol supplies are available for a fee. You can also drop by the Parol-making workshops to purchase and pick-up materials.
Parol kits includes everything you need to get started building a star lantern: bamboo sticks, twist ties, rubber bands, tissue paper and cellophane. Available colors for cellophane are pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, white.

The Pipes of Chirstmas is a festival for the soul. The concert will feature the music of Christmas accompanied by a selection of readings taken from the Celtic literature of Scotland, Ireland, Wales, and Scripture. Nearly seventeen thousand audience members have experienced The Pipes of Christmas since the concert first debuted in 1999.
