Contemporary Artists from France in Florida’s private collections!
French Artist Marlene Mocquet will exhibit a Project Room at Haunch of Venison in New York City from May 17th through June 16th with an opening reception May 17th from 6 to 8pm.
The exhibition will feature new work by the artist, including four paintings and two ceramic works. Mocquet’s paintings depict fantastical menacing creatures composed of paint that gushes off of the canvas and other mixed media. The creatures inhabit a whimsical universe with hallucinogens splashes of color.
Marlene Mocquet (b. 1979) was born in Maison Alfort, France, and currently lives and works in Paris. Mocquet graduated from Paris’ Ecole Normale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in 2006. She has had recent solo exhibitions at the Musee d’Art Contempora ... Go to event / 1 Comment
