After a fifteen year hiatus, Bay Area Hungarians again worked together to organize a very successful Hungarian Day at Belmont’âs Twin Pines Park. The event last year was a dynamic presentation of colorful Hungarian culture, live music, arts, history, and cuisine. Over 1,200 tickets were sold and visitors kept coming between 11:30 in the morning and the early evening. They enjoyed a variety of wonderful Hungarian food and drinks, exciting entertainment, non-stop music and dancing, intricate crafts, displays of local artisans, and a kids’ corner. The annual Cinco de Mayo Festival is the premiere community fund raising event organized and conducted by the Central Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in the city of Manteca.  Funds raised from this festive event are used throughout the year for Chamber programs, such as, developing and providing local Hispanic and non-Hispanic businesses with tools, support and advocacy to help them build a stronger business future.
