Asia Fest is an annual celebration of “National Asian Pacific American Heritage Month” which has been held in downtown Tampa since 1982. Each year the event has been coordinated by the Asian Coalition of Florida (AACF).
The goal of Asia Fest is to share Asian culture with the public and promote the bond of friendship and better understanding between the East and the West.
The event is FREE to the public and supported by sponsors. Asia Fest presents a colorful, festive celebration that features cultural entertainment and Asian ethnic food representing Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The Asian Heritage Street Celebration is held every year on the third Saturday in May in San Francisco, California. The Asian Heritage Street Celebration (AHSC) is organized by the AsianWeek Foundation in cooperation with over 150 organizations in the Asian American community. This year’s celebration will take place on May 19 in Little Saigon.

City Winery and American Airlines invite you to embark on an oenological and gastronomical tour of seven countries. Beginning in November 2011, we present one dinner per month showcasing on the wines and cuisine of a fascinating region served by American Airlines. Each evening includes remarks by a leading regional expert, a three-course dinner, and three wine flights highlighting the traditional wine styles of the region.
Grand Prize Drawing for International Airline Tickets At the conclusion of the series, we will hold a drawing for ticket holders from all seven dinners. One lucky winner will receive a pair of international airline tickets courtesy of American Airlines.

The ingredients of sake–rice and water–are very simple, hence their quality is of paramount importance. Most sake breweries are located near a plentiful source of pure, natural water, which plays a big role in the final flavors and nature of the sake. Sake rice is milled, sometimes down to 35 percent of the original size of the grains, in order to achieve the highest quality of sake. Sake expert John Gaunter introduces the importance of rice and water in sake brewing.
Followed by a sake tasting reception with more than 30 kinds of premium sake.

Every Sunday Morning, combining live music and food in a fresh, cultural environment, City Winery’s Klezmer brunch series pairs some of the greatest musicians in the world with delicious lox, bagels and other tasty fare on our brunch menu on Sunday mornings from 10am to 2pm.
Tickets are just $10 to cover for live music and does not include food or drink. Children 13 and under are free for the music. We have a full brunch menu available upon request.
On select weekends we welcome Rabbi Dan Ain from The New Shul to lead thoughtful discussion on theology, spirituality and the movements of the cosmos. The Rebbe’s table to open to all to attend.

Nestled in the center of Berrien County in southwest Michigan, the village of Baroda is a rural treasure amidst rolling hills, flowing vineyards, wineries, orchards and acres of golden grain.
