Lecture by Prasad Vepa. The widely revered Bhagavad Gita, meaning the Divine Song, is the most popular Hindu scriptural text and represents the essence of Hindu spiritual wisdom. Drawing on over 50 years of reading and interpreting the Gita, Vepa shares his understanding of its essential message and relevance and shares how he strives to apply its wisdom in day-to-day living. Vepa is a retired corporate executive and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the California Institute of Integral Studies. Vepa came to the U.S from Chennai, India, in 1968 as a graduate student at M.I.T. He has a deep interest in Vedanta, the core of Hindu philosophy.
