Journey from the throne room of an Indian court to the inner sanctum of the palace. Visit a variety of kingdoms to learn about India’s shifting political powers, its colonization by Great Britain, and the emergence of the independent nations of India and Pakistan in the modern era.

Zardozi is imperial metallic embroidery. It has it’s own relevance in history as the costume of royalty. Zardozi embroidery is rich with intricately woven patterns in gold and silver studded with seed pearls and precious stones enhanced the shimmering beauty of silk, velvet and brocade.
