Celebrate contemporary Japanese culture with us at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. As part of the Art After 5 Program, Japan night will feature a live performance by The Suzan. These self-proclaimed“riot grrrrrrls” will be bringing their unique stylings – a mixture of pop, punk and dance music – to the grand staircase. Don’t miss their two sets (5:45 & 7:15 pm).
In addition to the live performance and access to regular galleries, there will also be Japanese food and crafts and a chance to learn some origami.

12th Annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival is July 21-22, 2012 at Sloan’s Lake Park!
The Colorado Dragon Boat Festival (CDBF) is a free family-friendly festival highlighting Colorado’s rich Asian Pacific American heritage at Sloan’s Lake Park in northwest Denver. A window to the Pan Asian world, this diverse festival is the only one of its kind in the United States. It showcases an array of traditional and contemporary performing arts, cultural customs, cuisine and a marketplace of unique and hard-to-find arts, crafts and vendors, in addition to two days of action packed dragon boat racing.

The Largest free folk festival in the nation, with continuous music on six outdoor stages, takes place July 27-29, 2012 in downtown Lowell, Massachusetts.
