The Los Angeles Korean Festival Foundation was founded in 1973, as leaders of the burgeoning Korean immigrant community of the greater Los Angeles area recognized the importance of preserving their ethnic identity and organized the Los Angeles Korean Festival. As a non-profit organization, the LAKFF organizes the annual Los Angeles Korean Festival with the assistance of its numerous sponsors. With over 400,000 attendees each year, the Los Angeles Korean Festival is one of the largest ethnic celebrations in the nation.
Come celebrate the richness of Korean culture at this festival, which features a parade, a business expo with over 120 booths, an international food court and a fun-filled street carnival.

The Sunday Parade along Fifth Avenue is the highlight of the National Puerto Rican Parade events. Parade participants number over 2 million and parade spectators exceed 3 million. There is extensive media coverage by way of live and delayed telecast on English and Spanish television, and live radio coverage. There is an impressive number of community contingencies, floats, marching bands, and musical groups which provide a festive and lively mood to the Parade.
The parade marches along Fifth Avenue from 44th Street to 79th Street and has grown to become the largest demonstration of ethnic pride in New York City with close to three million spectators annually; it is one of the largest parades in the country.
