The California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks invites families to join them for the celebration of Scandinavian Festival and is ready to provide an affordable fun for every participant. The event includes food arrangements, entertainment and demonstrations highlighting Nordic cultures of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, and let you feel surrounded by the vibe and atmosphere of Northern Europe cultures.

This year, we have over 120 dragon boat teams and 3,500 dragon boat paddlers racing our 500 and 300 meter course.
Dragon boat teams range from novice to competitive skill level. Novice teams represent local Bay Area corporations, public agencies, and non-profit community.

Originally started as an informal, one-time only presentation of Italian movies in a college lecture hall, the Italian Film Festival of Marin County has grown over its 35 years into a perennial favorite in the San Francisco Bay Area.
