A night of culture, music, dance, authentic African food, and networking with ambassadors, government representatives and community leaders, this Black Tie affair (traditional attire encouraged) will feature some of the leading artists from the African Diaspora including a Brazilian Samba troupe, an international Nigerian artist, an East African dance troupe, and more! Ms. Taylor Thomas of Washington, DC’s WHUR 96.3 will MC the Extravaganza. Thomas is the news anchor for The Steve Harvey Morning Show and recently returned from an assignment in Egypt as part of the radio station’s WHUR World Tour.
