The Purim Ball and Auction has been a venerable JPDS-NC tradition for many years. It is a time for our community to join together and celebrate JPDS-NC and to honor individuals who support our school or who serve as leaders in our community. Last year, nearly 450 guests joined together at the 2011 Purim Ball & Auction, which was held at the National Building Museum.

And yet, shorts are also complete and often complex narratives that, like feature films, are structured by character, plot, theme and genre. From animation to allegory, documentary to avant-garde, and comedy to tragedy, they explore family bonds, self-discovery, and resilience, and a whole range of emotions.
